Jim Rozendal
Headmaster
Jim Rozendal serves as the Headmaster of Atlantic Christian Academy. His primary role is to oversee and implement the spiritual and academic programs of the school.
When asked his thoughts on the value of Christian education, Jim shares, “ I’ve experienced the value of Christian education in my own life, the lives of my children, and am beginning to see the value of it in the lives of my grandchildren. In the Christian schools I’ve been involved with over the years, students received a quality Christ-centered education. I’ve had the privilege to lead dedicated, caring educators that work together with parents to help students better understand and use their talents and gifts to enjoy their God and His creation, serve their fellow man, and live lives of gratitude to Jesus. I feel led and am honored to bring that same educational experience to the families that choose Atlantic Christian Academy for their children.”
Mr. Rozendal received a BA in Secondary Education from Calvin College and a MS degree in Educational Leadership from Nova University. After serving as a teacher/principal in a Christian school in the Chicago area for two years, the Lord led him to a Christian school in Palm Beach County as a teacher and administrator for 26 years, and then to the school where he graduated to serve as DeMott Christian School’s principal for 8 years.
Jim and his wife Cherie are excited to once again be residing in Palm Beach County. Their four wonderful children and their spouses, along with 14 beautiful grandchildren live in Florida. Jim had the opportunity to be raised in a Christian home and attend Christian schools from elementary school through college. He enjoys history, reading, walking, and spending time with family and friends.
“This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success. Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.”
